I believe I am an excellent candidate for the CFA designation scholarship. My plans for the rest of my year at UW-L is to complete my finance and accounting classes for my major and minor, and to take the FIN 400 course. I am very excited to be taking the Advanced Financial Analysis course because I feel the course will complete my major and combine all my finance classes into one review course, which will prepare me for the most important test of my career. I hope while I am studying for all three exams of the CFA I will gain knowledge that will lead me to promotions. In the near future I would like to be a manager or controller of business/financial analyst or capital planning. The CFA will provide me with wisdom, standards and ethics to be an even better manager and leader. I already have powerful leadership qualities, most of which I have learned through the many positions I have held in my sorority Alpha Xi Delta, but I would like to expand on those qualities to become more successful in my career.
Not only will the CFA help me with my career, but also to help me grow as a person, learning self-discipline and guidance. The CFA will also help me keep on track with my future profession, and will keep concepts and ideas fresh in my mind and will make them easier to recall and use when needed.

本人xxx，现在就读于xx师范大学xx学院。专业为历史学（师范），2012年入校。进入大学之后，我在学校学习和社会实践的过程中，不断挑战自己，在各个方面取得了较大的进步和成绩。
进入大学之后，各个学科的学习都要求要有自主学习的能力。大一的第一个学期，对于这点不是很适应。在课堂上表现的也不是很积极，笔记也很少做，有的时候会在课堂上玩手机，课下也很少认真复习和总结。在大一下半个学期的时候我开始逐渐的调整自己，为了克服自己不专心的习惯，我主动做到第一排以严格要求自己认真听课和做笔记。由于从小数学学习比较吃力，课下我和同学去自习室复习白天老师讲过的知识，认真完成老师布置的习题。这样经过了半学期的努力，我的高数取得了96分的好成绩，其他几门学科的名次也比较靠前。
除了在学习积极主动之外，我还在同学们的支持下担任了一年的班长。在担任班长的这段时间，我和其他的几个班委组织了一些诸如外出野炊、班级聚会、读书会等班级活动。这些活动得到了同学的积极帮助和支持，既丰富了我们班同学的课余生活，而且加深了班级同学之间的感情和集体认同感。在这个过程中我得到了很多的锻炼，个人的综合素质有了进一步的提升。
社会实践方面我参加了学校社团：“心心火义教之家”。在学长学姐的带领下，我们每周五去xx的唐家墩小学义教。在这个以农民工子弟为主的学校，我们积极协助学校和老师开展各种学习活动，孩子们也取得了很大的进步。在这个过程中，我不仅和孩子们建立了良好的友谊，而且对于当前流动人口面临的子女教育问题有了更加深刻的认识。

思想品德方面：本人于入校伊始就向党组织递交了入党申请书，从那时起我就时时事事严格要求自己。在思想上我积极要求进步，热爱集体，积极组织并参与班级活动，积极维护班级荣誉；关心同学、乐于助人，坚持为人民服务的宗旨，人际关系融洽，科研中坚持严谨认真的作风，坚决摒弃弄虚作假等行为。
学习成绩方面：在研一研二两年间，我努力学习，认真完成各门功课，积极回答问题，修完规定的学分，在取得优异成绩的同时还考取了“国家心理咨询师二级证”。
